Measure a flat on your phone

Stand in the empty flat with a tape or a laser meter and walk each room wall by wall. The phone draws the plan as you go. You get a DWG in our icon pack standard: the designer opens it in AutoCAD with the DWGLAB kit, adds the points and uploads it here as the next version of the same project.

The next page has a private link: keep it (bookmark it). Anyone with the link can see and change the measurement.

  1. Room 1: pick the first wall's direction, type its length, then turn left or right for each next wall.
  2. Close the room: the phone shows how far the last wall misses the start. Up to 20 mm is spread over the walls; more means a wall to measure again.
  3. Next room: pick the wall it shares with a room you already have, the distance along it and the wall thickness.
  4. Tap a wall to add a door or a window. Name every room and its ceiling height.
  5. Download the DWG, or send the link to the designer.
